Microgreens are the tiny edible versions of the everyday vegetables and grains that we eat. They’re up to 40 times more nutritious and carry a wealth of vitamins, nutrients and antioxidants when clipped and consumed fresh.

No. These are 2 different stages of plant growth. Sprouts are germinated seeds which are eaten with the seed, stem, root and sometimes underdeveloped leaves while microgreens are eaten with just the stems and leaves.

Sprouts grow in a damp, low light and highly humid environment while microgreens grow best in soil or cocopeat, with abundant natural light and fresh air, thereby becoming less susceptible to be attacked by dangerous pathogens.

While sprouts are a healthy addition to our diet, microgreens are believed to possess more nutrients than sprouts since they’re also packed with the power of sun.

No. Living microgreens are packed with active minerals, nutrients and enzymes which rapidly diminish when they’re clipped and packaged. Hence, it’s advisable to clip a living crop and consume it as soon as possible to experience maximum health benefits.
